Just like any other metropolitan in the world, Toronto has all when it comes to shopping, from designer clothes to bargains or from paintings to exotic jewelries. Name it, they have it. You just have to know where to find these places.

These are some of the shopping places to go to when you are in Toronto. The Eaton Center, it is the third largest mall in Canada with a four level glass dome and it has two hundred fifty (250) stores. Located in downtown Toronto and one of the tourists’ attractions, the underground of the mall connects with Toronto’s Path network.

The famous two large department stores are The Bay and Sears. If you’re tired from going to one mall to another, this is the place. Eaton Center has everything.  If you are looking for expensive stores for clothes, shoes and accessories with designer labels, you can find these at the Bloor Street West, the posh place for shopping and for the fashionistas. You can find the brands such as Chanel, Emporio Armani, Ralph Lauren and jewelries from Tiffany and Company and so on. There is also a spa in this place, Clarins. If you want to find cheap deals and chic clothing, you can find this strip of stores at Queen Street.

The Kensington Market, west of Chinatown has a strip of stores that sales from food shops to antique stores. You can find food shops here that sell, fresh fruits and vegetables, cheese, meat You can find some antique stores that sell old furniture; there is a vintage store where it has 60s and 70s clothing, and stores that sell used clothing. You can also find here a cannabis café. And St. Lawrence Market, the best place to shop for fresh produce vegetables and fruits, has more than fifty (50) specialty vendors.

Sam the Record Man is a music store located north of Dundas Street. You can find all kinds of music here. It has a vast selection of VHS and DVD films. The store also has a café that serves coffee and snacks. There is also a small music store at McCaul Street, Second Vinyl, with classical and jazz music; next to the store is just the regular music store. If you are shopping for books, the Another Man’s Poison at McCaul Street is a design books which has all books such as for interior designing, architecture, graphic designing, industrial designing and so on.

If you’re looking for children’s books, travel books and biographies, it’s at Nicholas Hoare at Front Street East, it is the bookstore that’s in a 19th century building with couches and a fireplace. If you are looking for a particular magazine, you can find it at Presse Internationale on College Street. If you are up for a flea market, you can find it at west of Dufferin, Steeles West Market Place. Open six days a week with more than fifty (50) vendors. And lastly if you want to shop for some artsy stuffs, check out the Arts on King at downtown King Street, with many crafts from local artists.
