Learn Languages in Toronto

Communication is often the bridge to ties or bonds from different kinds of people from different countries and cultures. In regards to that when these people meet, often they will find a common language to communicate with each other, learn and understand.

Nowadays it is important to learn languages, not only your own language especially the English language. If needs be that you to travel to other countries, to study abroad, or attend some conventions, if one knows the language that can be of great help. Spanish is also considered as an international language as much as English.

Canada has two (2) official languages namely English and French. Although Toronto is a melting pot of culture, 42.8% of the populations are from minority groups, the English language is predominant in Canada and only 1.4% of the population speaks the second official language, French. Other languages that are spoken in Toronto are Chinese, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish because of their high number of population.

There are specific towns and places where these languages are spoken like the Chinatown, Koreatown, and Little Italy and so on. English is widely spoken here, even the street signs, though some parts have French on it. Mostly the best language for business establishments is English. Basically anywhere in Toronto even if you speak English in Chinatown, people will still understand you. People from Asian and European countries will study in Toronto just to learn and understand English.

Toronto has more than twenty (20) languages due to its migrants and foreign-born residents, regardless of their cultures and their different languages; still they use a common language to communicate with each other and that is the English language. Learning a language aside from your native tongue is never easy but one should not limit his or her knowledge and the opportunities he or she can get learning.
