About Toronto

The city of Toronto is the largest city of Canada.  It is appointed as the fifth most populous metropolis particularly in North America.  With about 2.5 million residents; the city settles down at the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario as well as the provincial capital of Ontario. 

Toronto is known around the country as the global city because of its being the economic capital of the country itself.  And the city’s included economic sectors are the finance, telecommunications, aerospace, business services, transportation, media, arts, television production, film, publishing, software production, sports, tourism and more.  And because of these facts, Toronto has been recognized as the most vibrant city regarding on the economic stability. 

The geography of Toronto consists of 630 square kilometers having a greatest north-south distance of about 21 kilometers as well as a maximum of 43 kilometers east-west distance.  On the other hand, the topography of Toronto was interconnected by the two rivers namely; the Humber River in the west area and the Don River east located in the downtown.  The presence of the many lakes as well as the creeks created the place for the parks.  No wonder that despite the numerous populations it has, still the city of Toronto has been rushed with tourists worldwide. The city is in fact does not only owned progressive stability but as well as on the tourism as well.

In terms of the city’s climate, Toronto experience mostly the weather condition as being moderate particularly in Canada because of its southerly location around the country and the fact of being near to the Lake Ontario. 

The climate of Toronto is best described as a humid continental climate, having warm humid summers but usually cold during winter seasons.  While on the Canadian side the weather they mostly experience were fairly mild as well as the typical U.S.  However, the climate of Toronto changes which features short cold snaps having temperature that remains below that made the wind chillier than expected.   Expected snowstorm is present during this time that would sometimes bring disturbance to the workers.  While in terms of the summer seasons in Toronto the season is described as having long term of humid weather. 

Daytime may sometime occur of having a 35 degree Celsius or 95 degree Fahrenheit having an expected of high humidity.  The autumns as well as the spring seasons are expected to be mild or cool temperature with interchanging dry and wet periods. 

The most alluring building in Toronto is the CN Tower that has a height of 553.33 meters.  The building is recognized as the second tallest building around the world and in fact the most captivating building around the city of Toronto.  It is widely known around the city as the free standing structure and one of the most significant telecommunication hubs well as the core of Toronto’s tourism. 

The city of Toronto as well is designated with many skyscrapers that range mostly with approximately 300 ft in height.  There are about 2000 buildings that surround the city and in fact appointed as next vibrant city aside from New York.  Recently the city of Toronto is continuously as one of the most progressive cities worldwide.
